Paddy Power Bookmakers
Founded in 1988, Paddy Power is the biggest bookmaker in Ireland. Since 2003 Paddy Power has been growing rapidly in the UK.
MRG systems have been a key supplier since the mid 1990s providing both the text system in shops and the control system at head office. These components help deliver a market-leading audio-visual entertainment product for Paddy Power customers.
The BIDS and GD500 systems were developed in conjunction with Paddy Power to provide an efficient communication platform. This platform helps Paddy Power to demonstrate their superior range of betting products including, amongst others, USPs such as the famous ‘Money-Back Special’.
Paddy Power’s continual expansion of their product range has required a similar growth in the number of screens in each shop. The new AV300 supports 24 text screens with modular expansion capabilities, and additionally provides remote management of live picture TVs.
BIDS has been continually updated as the nature of the business has changed and now provides central price management for all of Paddy Power’s divisions including PaddyPower.com.
