ATP950 Opt-Out Decoder
The ATP950 is a six-channel analogue teletext decoder that decodes incoming signals and switches relay outputs accordingly. This is intended to allow regional broadcasters to insert their own local advertising.

During an advertisement break a signal is transmitted from the central TV station. The regional stations decode the signal and relay contacts switch opt-out outputs to control video play-out of local advertising. There are various encodings used to control opt-out switching and each channel may be configured to one of over a dozen different methods.
The ATP950 has two isolated sets of relay contacts and two led indicators for each video channel. A serial port allows the unit to be set up and monitored with a terminal emulator.
