May 2007 - MRG Launches the DVP100
Analogue Switch-off
MRG Systems announce the development of its DVP100 Digital to Analogue converter. The DVP100 is targeted at Hotels, Conference centres and Bookmakers, in fact any organisation that uses a multiple television distribution network.
Now there’s no need to purchase decoders for each of your televisions and there’s no need to replace all of your TVs, MRG has developed a single unit that sits at the head-end of your network and puts the signals back onto the same channels that your TVs are already tuned into.
The unit contains eight digital settop boxes and eight tuneable modulators. A simple LCD touchscreen allows engineers to set the unit up quickly to output any channel on the same channel the TV is already tuned into. The DVP100 has a network and USB connection that enables the configuration to be done remotely if required.
The Benefits
- Extends the life of your current TV stock
- Easy setup without disturbing the existing installation
- No need to retune the TVs
- Competitively priced
- No need to purchase individual decoders for each TV
- 8 decoders / demodulators in one compact unit
- Capable of switching channels on the central TV (Bookmakers)
- Single unit
Each unit has
- A user interface with a small LCD touchscreen that allows easy on-site setup.
- A network interface to receive commands over LAN or WAN
- A web server to enable the configuration to be done via a PC
- The ability to control the decoders
- The ability to control the modulators
The DVP100 will be available in the third quarter of 2007. Please ring MRG on 01453-751871 or email sales@mrgsystems.co.uk to register your interest.
