Lauren Benning, Marketing Manager at Places Leisure, leads a dynamic team of nine people, responsible for promoting everything from soup of the day to salsa classes.

Prior to using LiveSpace, Places Leisure relied on a mix of A4 posters, banners, and leaflets for internal promotions. However, these traditional methods often failed to capture the attention of their audience effectively.  

 

“They look so much nicer.”

“If an event becomes fully booked, we can immediately update the content. If we need to extend a promotion for a specific class, we can do that too. This level of control is a massive benefit.”

One standout feature of LiveSpace is the ability to showcase customer testimonials and member stories, which Places Leisure has used effectively to highlight the benefits of their services.

“We did a campaign called ‘Learn it, Like it, Live it,’ focusing on member stories across different areas like swimming lessons and fitness,” Lauren shares. “This was displayed on all our digital screens and received great feedback.”  

 

“For internal marketing, it’s super helpful”

LiveSpace has proven particularly effective for promoting open days and group workout classes. The engaging and eye-catching content helps drive traffic to the website and boosts participation in events.

Lauren notes, “For internal marketing, it’s super helpful. It engages the customer a little bit more.”
