We at MRG are delighted to partner with Aron Taylor-Smith for his assault on the British Touring Car Championship with MB Motorsport.
Aron has been running in the Championship for several years and the move to MB Motorsport to replace champion Jake Hill sees him in a team with race-winning chances. He will be driving the Laser Tools Toyota Corolla with team-mate Gordon Sheddon and both are very excited about the possibilities for 2026. Aron said “I’m really proud to be part of Laser Tools Racing. I’m excited to put on a show and make everyone in my partner network proud.”
The 2026 season starts on April 19th with races at Donnington Park in Leicestershire. The series then moves to tracks around the UK with the final two meetings at Silverstone and Brands Hatch in the Autumn. The grid includes cars from Toyota, BMW, Ford, Mercedes, Audi and Hyundai – cars that you will recognise from the UK’s roads. The series will also be covered live on ITV4 with each of Sunday’s 3 races covered in full alongside the other championships on the schedule.
MRG will be part of Aron’s partner network for the first time in 2026 and we look forward to meeting all the other partners.
